Robust Health Advocacy (RHA) Founder and Senior Health Advisor Angela Forest has 20 years of experience in health research, knowledge management, content curation, behavioral change management, and research focused on cutting-edge health innovations.
After encountering healthcare providers unable to resolve her multiple, overlapping, long-term health conditions, Angela did her own medical research to identify providers and treatments that resolved her health problems and saved her life. She now applies her expertise and personal experience in guiding and collaborating with clients to empower them in finding lasting solutions to their health issues.
Angela continues to investigate the gaps in our healthcare system, specifically why many people don’t heal, and what kinds of practices, behavioral changes, healthcare support, and treatment modalities help people recover their health and sustain it.
Angela engages in ongoing health training and clinical study, collaborating, and consulting with some of the most innovative health practitioners in the areas of gut health, nutritional restoration, metabolic enhancement, hormonal balancing, nervous system regulation, and trauma release. They include:

Dr. Misty Story, a Naturopathic Doctor who trains under Dr. Allison Siebecker, one of the top experts in treating Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO).

Annabeth Goss, a nutritionist who is board certified in Holistic Nutrition through the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP).

Dr. Afrouz Demeri, a highly sought after Naturopathic Doctor and Women’s health Specialist, who combines holistic eastern traditional medicine and western science to solve hormonal imbalances.

Dr. Arielle Schwarz, a Renowned Clinical Psychologist, Skilled in Somatic Trauma Release and Resilience Informed Therapy.
Robust Health Advocacy’s mission is to guide mature women dealing with chronic health conditions, such as gut issues, hormonal balancing problems and long-term stress and trauma into health freedom by addressing root cause issues tied to gaps in healthcare, internal belief systems, stress, trauma and relational patterns that have kept them stuck, so they can align with their innate healing nature.
RHA believes in and seeks to create a world where healthcare is a human right, where everyone can access quality care to heal, and where women’s healthcare is as important as any other kind of care.
We work to turn this vision into reality by empowering clients, caregivers, and the communities they serve through research, education, and physical-emotional-spiritual restoration.
We embrace these values in ensuring that our clients are fully supported during their healing journey:
In a nutshell, personal health advocacy is about taking charge of our health
and our health outcomes by:
Personal health advocacy matters because in our modern healthcare system, doctors’ objectives may be compromised by profit and undue influence from pharmaceutical and device manufacturers; providers are often too busy to track all aspects of patient care, many healthcare practitioners have not adopted the most innovative, evidence-based approaches; well-documented biases exist in care provided to certain populations, such as women and people of color; and most importantly, according to the National Institutes of Health approximately 80% of chronic diseases are preventable through changes to lifestyle (i.e., diet, sleep, stress management, etc.)
Taking charge of our health through advocacy can restore a high quality of life and prevent disability and early death for ourselves and those we love.
For individuals, organizations and employees who provide support for vulnerable populations (i.e., children, the elderly, the disabled, the LGBTQI community, less-affluent residents)
